संशोध्यमानापि तथा भवेन्मूर्तिर्न निर्मला । जिघ्रन्नपि स्वदुर्गंधं पश्यन्नपि मलं स्वकम्

saṃśodhyamānāpi tathā bhavenmūrtirna nirmalā | jighrannapi svadurgaṃdhaṃ paśyannapi malaṃ svakam

Mesmo sendo purificado, o ser encarnado não se torna verdadeiramente imaculado, ainda que sinta o próprio mau cheiro e ainda que veja a própria sujeira.
