Puruṣottama-kṣetra Māhātmya: Śveta-Mādhava & Matsya-Mādhava; Mārkaṇḍeya-tīrtha Mārjana and Bath Liturgy

पुरुषोत्तमं पुनः प्राप्य वटमूलेऽथ सागरे । त्यक्त्वा देहं हरिं स्मृत्वा ततः शांतं पदं व्रजेत् ॥ १३ ॥

puruṣottamaṃ punaḥ prāpya vaṭamūle'tha sāgare | tyaktvā dehaṃ hariṃ smṛtvā tataḥ śāṃtaṃ padaṃ vrajet || 13 ||

Tendo novamente alcançado Purushottama, à raiz da figueira-de-bengala junto ao mar, deve abandonar o corpo lembrando-se de Hari; e então alcança a morada serena e pacífica.
