Glory of Puruṣottama: Pañcatīrthī Observance and Narasiṃha Worship
Narada
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It presents Subhadrā as a cosmic benefactress—world-sustaining and world-welfare—indicating that sincere propitiation leads to her grace and blessings.
Bhakti is shown as ‘prasādana’—pleasing the deity through reverent worship—where the devotee seeks not control but divine favor, recognizing the Goddess as inherently auspicious and compassionate.
No specific Vedanga technique is taught in this line; the practical takeaway is ritual devotion (upāsanā) and stuti centered on invoking the deity’s epithets (varadā, śivā) as part of mahatmya-style worship.
