एष सर्वान् महीपालान् करदान् समकारयत् | वैश्यानिव महाभागो विवशान् स्ववशानपि
arjuna uvāca | eṣa sarvān mahīpālān karadān samakārayat | vaiśyān iva mahābhāgo vivaśān svavaśān api |
Arjuna disse: “Este rei ilustre constrangeu todos os governantes da terra a tornarem-se tributários. Como vaiśyas, quer quisessem quer não, ele os submeteu ao seu domínio e os fez pagar tributo.”
