Chapter 58: Arjuna’s Deployment of the Indra-Weapon

तावुभौ ख्यातकर्माणावुभौ वायुसमौ जवे । उभौ दिव्यास्त्रविदुषावुभावुत्तमतेजसौ । क्षिपन्ती शरजालानि मोहयामासतुर्न॒पान्‌

tāv ubhau khyātakarmāṇāv ubhau vāyusamau jave | ubhau divyāstraviduṣāv ubhāv uttamatejasau | kṣipantī śarajālāni mohayāmāsatur nṛpān ||

Vaiśampāyana disse: Ambos eram célebres por seus feitos, e em velocidade eram como o vento. Ambos eram mestres de armas celestes, ambos ardiam com esplendor excelente. Lançando um contra o outro redes de flechas, os dois deixaram os reis aturdidos, de modo que os espectadores mal conseguiam discernir o rumo do combate—imagem de brilho marcial que também adverte como o espetáculo e a destreza podem turvar o juízo claro.
