Dhaumya’s Counsel on Incognito Conduct in a Royal Household (राजवसतौ आचरण-निति)
यत्र यत्रैनमासीनं शड्केरन् दुष्टचारिण: । न तत्रोपविशेद् यो वै स राजवसतिं वसेत्,जिन-जिन स्थानोंपर बैठनेसे दुराचारी मनुष्य संदेह करते हों, वहाँ-वहाँ जो कभी नहीं बैठता, वही राजभवनमें रह सकता है
yatra yatra enam āsīnaṃ śaṅkeran duṣṭacāriṇaḥ | na tatropaviśed yo vai sa rājavasatiṃ vaset ||
Dhaumya disse: “Em todo lugar onde homens perversos se tornariam desconfiados ao vê-lo sentado, ele não deve sentar-se de modo algum. Só quem evita tais lugares comprometedores pode residir com segurança numa morada real.”
