Virāṭa-parva Adhyāya 25: Kaurava Deliberation and the Search Directive (अन्वेषण-आदेशः)
The verse highlights how information and alliances gathered in royal courts can steer moral outcomes: intelligence used to inflame hostility strengthens adharma, whereas counsel aligned with restraint and justice supports dharma.
Spies (implied by the surrounding context) approach Duryodhana, who is seated in the court with his brothers and allied Trigarta warriors, and begin delivering their report—setting up the next developments in the Virāṭa Parva.
