Virāṭa-parva Adhyāya 13 — Kīcaka’s Proposition and Draupadī’s Dharmic Refusal
अज्ञातं च विराटस्य विजित्य वसु धर्मराट् । भ्रातृभ्य: पुरुषव्याप्रो यथा सम्प्रयच्छति,'पुरुषसिंह धर्मराज युधिष्ठिर जूएमें धन जीतकर अपने भाइयोंको यथायोग्य बाँट देते थे।! इसका राजा विराटको भी पता नहीं लगता था
ajñātaṃ ca virāṭasya vijitya vasu dharmarāṭ | bhrātṛbhyaḥ puruṣavyāghro yathā samprayacchati |
Vaiśampāyana disse: “Tendo ganho riquezas, o rei justo Yudhiṣṭhira—tigre entre os homens—distribuía-as aos seus irmãos na devida medida, sem que o rei Virāṭa viesse a saber disso.”
