तां यौवनस्थां राजेन्द्र शतं कन्या: स्वलंकृता: । दास्य: शतं च कल्याणीमुपातस्थुर्वशानुगा:,राजेन्द्र! जब उसने युवावस्थामें पदार्पण किया, उस समय उस कल्याणी कन्याको वस्त्राभूषणोंसे विभूषित सौ सुन्दरी कन्याएँ और सौ दासियाँ उसकी आज्ञाके अधीन होकर घेरे रहतीं और उसकी सेवा किया करती थीं
tāṃ yauvanasthāṃ rājendra śataṃ kanyāḥ svalankṛtāḥ | dāsyaḥ śataṃ ca kalyāṇīm upātasthur vaśānugāḥ ||
Ó rei, quando ela entrou no esplendor da juventude, cem donzelas belamente adornadas e cem servas cercavam aquela jovem auspiciosa, submissas à sua vontade e constantes em seu serviço.
