युधिष्ठिरस्य अर्जुनप्रेषण-युक्तिवर्णनम् | Yudhiṣṭhira’s Rationale for Sending Arjuna and Request to Dhaumya
मनो: प्रजापतेलोंकानाप्रोति पुरुषर्षभ । कन्यायां ये प्रयच्छन्ति दानमण्वपि भारत
manoḥ prajāpate lokān āpnoti puruṣarṣabha | kanyāyāṁ ye prayacchanti dānam aṇv api bhārata ||
Ghūlastya disse: “Ó touro entre os homens, quem oferecer a uma donzela até a menor dádiva alcança os mundos de Manu, Senhor das criaturas. Ó Bhārata, tal oferta—por mínima que seja—gera grande mérito.”
