वैशम्पायन उवाच गते तु पाण्डवे तात काम्यकात् सत्यविक्रमे । बभूवु: पाण्डवेयास्ते दु:ः:खशोकपरायणा:,वैशम्पायनजी कहते हैं--तात! सत्यपराक्रमी पाण्डुकुमार अर्जुनके काम्यकवनसे चले जानेपर सभी पाण्डव उनके लिये दुःख और शोकमें मग्न रहने लगे
vaiśampāyana uvāca | gate tu pāṇḍave tāta kāmyakāt satyavikrame | babhūvuḥ pāṇḍaveyās te duḥkhaśokaparāyaṇāḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana disse: “Meu filho, quando o Pāṇḍava—Arjuna, de valor verdadeiro e constante—partiu da floresta de Kāmyaka, os filhos de Pāṇḍu foram tomados por tristeza e pesar por causa dele.”
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights the ethical and emotional dimension of dharma in exile: even heroic duty-driven departures carry a human cost, and the strength of fraternal bonds is shown through shared grief rather than indifference.
Arjuna has left the Kāmyaka forest, and the remaining Pāṇḍavas are described as becoming absorbed in sorrow and grief because of his departure.
