Kāmyake Arjuna-viyogaḥ — The Pandavas’ despondency in Kāmyaka during Arjuna’s absence
ब्राह्मणैश्व महाभागैवेंदवेदाड़पारगै: | नित्यमन्वास्यसे राजंस्तत्र का परिदेवना,राजन! महान् भाग्यशाली वेद-वेदांगोंके पारंगत विद्वान् ब्राह्मण सदा तुम्हारे साथ रहते हैं; फिर तुम्हारे लिये इस परिस्थितिमें शोककी क्या बात है?
brāhmaṇaiś ca mahābhāgair vedavedāṅgapāragaiḥ | nityam anvāsyase rājan tatra kā paridevanā, rājan ||
Bṛhadaśva disse: “Ó rei, és constantemente assistido por brâmanes de grande fortuna—sábios que dominaram os Vedas e suas disciplinas auxiliares (Vedāṅga). Em tal situação, que motivo tens para lamentar, ó rei?”
