Educational Q&A

The colophon closes a unit whose ethical thrust is that dharma-tested endurance—faithfulness, self-control, and refusal to abandon righteousness even in misfortune—supports the restoration of harmony, culminating in reunion and the re-establishment of rightful life.

This is the formal end-marker of the chapter: it states that the seventy-sixth chapter concludes within the Vana Parva, specifically in the Nala episode, at the point describing the meeting/reunion of Nala and Damayantī.
