Nala’s Reception and Reconciliation
सा वै पित्राभ्यनुज्ञाता मात्रा च भरतर्षभ । नलं॑ प्रवेशयामास यत्र तस्या: प्रतिश्रय:,भरतकुलभूषण! पिता और माताकी आज्ञा ले दमयन्तीने नलको राजभवनके भीतर जहाँ वह स्वयं रहती थी, बुलवाया। दमयन्तीको सहसा सामने उपस्थित देख राजा नल शोक और दु:खसे व्याप्त हो नेत्रोंसे आँसू बहाने लगे
sā vai pitrābhyanujñātā mātrā ca bharatarṣabha | nalaṁ praveśayāmāsa yatra tasyāḥ pratiśrayaḥ ||
Ó touro da linhagem dos Bhārata! Tendo obtido o consentimento de seu pai e de sua mãe, Damayantī mandou trazer Nala para dentro do palácio real, ao lugar onde ela própria habitava.
