नल: संचोदयामास प्रहृष्टेनान्तरात्मना । विदर्भाभिमुखो राजा प्रययौ स महायशा:,कलियुगके आश्रय लेनेसे बहेड़ेका वृक्ष निन्दित हो गया। तदनन्तर राजा नलने प्रसन्नचित्तसे पुनः घोड़ोंको हाँकना आरम्भ किया। वे उत्तम अश्व पक्षियोंकी तरह बार-बार उड़ते हुए-से प्रतीत हो रहे थे। अब महायशस्वी राजा नल विदर्भदेशकी ओर (बड़े वेगसे बढ़े) जा रहे थे
nalaḥ sañcodayāmāsa prahṛṣṭenāntarātmanā | vidarbhābhimukho rājā prayayau sa mahāyaśāḥ ||

बृहदश्च उवाच
Even after moral collapse under harmful influences (symbolized by Kali), a person can regain clarity and move back toward rightful life through renewed inner resolve; joy here marks the reawakening of dharmic direction.
Bṛhadaśva describes Nala, now inwardly delighted, driving the horses again and setting out swiftly toward Vidarbha—indicating his return journey and the beginning of restoration in his fortunes.
