ऋतुपर्णस्य विदर्भयात्रा-निश्चयः तथा बाहुकस्य हयपरिक्षा (Ṛtuparṇa’s resolve to go to Vidarbha and Bāhuka’s examination of horses)

तस्या रुदत्या: सततं तेन शोकेन पार्थिव । प्रसादं कुरु वै वीर प्रतिवाक्यं ददस्व च,“वीर भूमिपाल! सदा तुम्हारे शोकसे रोती हुई अपनी उस प्यारी पत्नीपर पुनः कृपा करो और मुझे मेरी बातका उत्तर दो”

Transliteration

tasyā rudatyāḥ satataṃ tena śokena pārthiva | prasādaṃ kuru vai vīra prativākyaṃ dadasva ca ||

Translation

“Ó rei, ela chora continuamente, consumida por essa dor. Ó herói, torna a conceder-lhe teu favor e dá-me resposta ao que eu disse.”
