Parṇāda’s Report; Bāhuka’s Counsel; Damayantī’s Strategic Svayaṃvara Message (अध्याय ६८)
The verse foregrounds satya (truthfulness) and completeness in narration: when seeking understanding, one should ask clearly and the respondent should explain the matter fully and accurately (aśeṣataḥ, tattvena).
Bṛhadaśva requests a complete and truthful account from the other speaker, specifically concerning a woman described as having a divine form, indicating a transition into a fuller disclosure of her identity and story.
