Parṇāda’s Report; Bāhuka’s Counsel; Damayantī’s Strategic Svayaṃvara Message (अध्याय ६८)

The verse highlights compassionate concern for another’s suffering and frames relief as arising through rightful reunion and restored social-moral order (dharma), using a culturally resonant simile of Rohiṇī’s joy with the Moon.
Yudhiṣṭhira laments the distress of an auspicious, virtuous princess and wonders when she will finally be freed from sorrow, expressing hope that reunion with her husband will bring her peace, likened to Rohiṇī’s happiness in union with the Moon.
