Sudeva Identifies Damayantī in Cedi (सुदेवेन दमयन्ती-परिचयः)
वाससोडर्थ परिच्छिद्य त्यक्तवान् मामनागसम् । त॑ मार्गमाणा भर्तारें दहमाना दिवानिशम्
vāsaso 'rdhaṃ paricchidya tyaktavān mām anāgasam | tāṃ mārgamāṇāṃ bhartāraṃ dahamānāṃ divāniśam ||
“Depois de rasgar minha veste ao meio, ele me abandonou, embora eu fosse inocente. Desde então, ao procurar meu esposo, a angústia me consome dia e noite, queimando-me por dentro de dor e saudade.”
