दिव्येभ्यश्वैव भूतेभ्यो ये चान्ये परिपन्थिन: । आप बड़े भाईका आदर करनेवाले हैं, उनकी आज्ञाके पालक हैं। भरतश्रेष्ठ! मैं आपकी शान्तिके लिये वसु, रुद्र, आदित्य, मरुदगण, विश्वेदेव तथा साध्य देवताओंकी शरण लेती हूँ। भारत! भौम, आन्तरिक्ष तथा दिव्य भूतोंसे और दूसरे भी जो मार्गमें विघध्न डालनेवाले प्राणी हैं, उन सबसे आपका कल्याण हो
divyebhyaś caiva bhūtebhyo ye cānye paripanthinaḥ |
Vaiśaṃpāyana disse: “Que estejas a salvo dos seres celestes e de todos os demais seres que possam obstruir o caminho. Porque honras teu irmão mais velho e obedeces ao seu comando, invoco para tua paz a proteção dos Vasus, Rudras, Ādityas, Maruts, Viśvedevas e Sādhyas. Que haja bem-estar para ti contra as forças terrenas, atmosféricas e celestes, e contra quaisquer criaturas que causem impedimento na jornada.”
वैशम्पायन उवाच
Respect for elders and obedience to rightful instruction are presented as virtues that invite auspicious protection; the passage frames safety and success as supported by dharmic conduct and by invoking benevolent divine guardians against obstacles.
The speaker conveys a benediction for someone setting out or proceeding on a path, invoking groups of Vedic deities for peace and protection from obstructive beings across the earthly, atmospheric, and celestial realms.
