अमर्षसे जो संताप होता है, वह आगसे भी बढ़कर जलानेवाला है। जिससे संतप्त होकर मुझे न तो रातमें नींद आती है और न दिनमें
amarṣaḥ saṃtāpo yaḥ sa agner api vardhataro dāhakaḥ; yena saṃtaptasya mama na rātrau nidrā bhavati na ca divā.
