The verse highlights responsible kingship and fraternal care: Yudhiṣṭhira responds to hardship with practical action and concern for his brothers’ well-being, showing leadership grounded in compassion and duty.
During their hardship in the forest, the brothers are exhausted and thirsty. Yudhiṣṭhira orders Nakula to climb a tree and scan all directions for signs of nearby water, such as waterside vegetation.
