(प्रत्याजग्मु: सरथा: सानुयात्रा: सर्वे: सार्थ सूतपौरोगवैस्ते । ततो युयुर्दवतवने नृवीरा निस्तीर्यवं वनवासं समग्रम् ।।) इस प्रकार वनवासकी पूरी अवधि बिताकर वे नरवीर पाण्डव अपने रथ, अनुचर, सूत तथा रसोइयोंके साथ पुनः द्वैतवनमें लौट आये ।। इति श्रीमहा भारते वनपर्वणि कुण्डलाहरणपर्वणि कवचकुण्डलदाने दशाधिकत्रिशततमो<थध्याय:

pratyājagmuḥ sarathāḥ sānuyātrāḥ sarvaiḥ sārtha-sūta-paurogavaiḥ te |
tato yuyur dvaitavane nṛvīrā nistīryaivaṁ vanavāsaṁ samagram ||
Vaiśampāyana disse: “Tendo cumprido por inteiro o tempo do exílio na floresta, aqueles heróis retornaram—com seus carros e atendentes, acompanhados por seus cocheiros e pelo pessoal da casa. Depois, os heróis Pāṇḍava vieram novamente à floresta de Dvaita, tendo suportado plenamente toda a disciplina de viver no ermo.”
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights dharma as steadfast adherence to one’s pledged course: the Pāṇḍavas complete the full term of forest-exile without shortcut or evasion, showing endurance, restraint, and fidelity to vows even under hardship.
After finishing the entire period of vanavāsa (forest-exile), the Pāṇḍavas, along with their chariots and full retinue (attendants, charioteers, household staff), return and proceed again to the Dvaita forest, marking a transition point in the Vana Parva narrative.
