सूर्य उवाच अदित्या कुण्डले राज्ञि दत्ते मे मत्तकाशिनि । तेडस्य दास्यामि वै भीरु वर्म चैवेदमुत्तमम्,सूर्यदेवने कहा--यौवनके मदसे सुशोभित होनेवाली भीरु राजकुमारी! माता अदितिने मुझे जो कुण्डल दिये हैं, उन्हें मैं तुम्हारे इस पुत्रको दे दूँगा। साथ ही यह उत्तम कवच भी उसे अर्पित करूँगा
sūrya uvāca | adityā kuṇḍale rājñi datte me mattakāśini | te tasya dāsyāmi vai bhīru varma caivam idam uttamam ||
Sūrya disse: “Ó princesa tímida, radiante com o orgulho da juventude! Os brincos que minha mãe Aditi me deu—eu os darei, sim, ao teu filho. E, junto com eles, também lhe concederei esta excelente armadura.”
