तस्यास्तु शीलवृत्तेन तुतोष द्विजसत्तम: । अवधानेन भूयो<स्या: परं यत्नमथाकरोत्‌,उसके शील, सदाचार तथा सावधानीसे उन द्विजश्रेष्ठको बड़ा संतोष हुआ। उन्होंने कुन्तीका हित करनेका पूरा प्रयत्न किया

Transliteration

tasyāstu śīlavṛttena tutoṣa dvijasattamaḥ | avadhānena bhūyo ’syāḥ paraṁ yatnam athākarot |

Translation

Ao observar o bom caráter e a conduta dela, o mais eminente dos duas-vezes-nascidos ficou grandemente satisfeito. E, vendo sua diligência, empenhou-se ainda mais, fazendo o máximo esforço pelo bem-estar de Kuntī.
