ततः संवत्सरे पूर्णो यदासौ जपतां वर: । नापश्यद्‌ दुष्कृतं किंचित्‌ पृथाया: सौहृदे रत:

Transliteration

tataḥ saṃvatsare pūrṇe yadāsau japatāṃ varaḥ | nāpaśyad duṣkṛtaṃ kiṃcit pṛthāyāḥ sauhṛde rataḥ ||

Translation

Então, quando se completou um ano inteiro, aquele que era o mais eminente entre os devotos da recitação e da oração—inclinado à amizade e à benevolência para com Pṛthā (Kuntī)—não encontrou nela a menor falta ou má ação.
