अध्याय ३० — क्रोधदोषाः क्षमाप्रशंसा च

Defects of Anger and the Praise of Forbearance

अनन्या हि नरव्याप्र नित्यदा धर्ममेव ते । बुद्धिः सततमन्वेति च्छायेव पुरुषं निजा,नरश्रेष्ठ) जैसे अपनी छाया सदा मनुष्यके पीछे चलती है, उसी प्रकार आपकी बुद्धि सदा अनन्यभावसे धर्मका ही अनुसरण करती है

ananyā hi naravyāghra nityadā dharmam eva te | buddhiḥ satatam anveti chāyeva puruṣaṃ nijā ||

Yudhiṣṭhira disse: “Ó tigre entre os homens, tua mente jamais se divide; em todo tempo segue apenas o dharma. Teu discernimento te acompanha continuamente — como a própria sombra, que nunca abandona um homem.”
