Dharma-pratyabhijñāna and Vara-pradāna (धर्मप्रत्यभिज्ञानम्—वरप्रदानम्)
सावित्री त्वाह भर्तरं नैकस्त्वं गन्तुमहसि । सह त्वया गमिष्यामि न हि त्वां हातुमुत्सहे,उस समय सावित्रीने अपने पतिसे कहा--नाथ! आप अकेले न जाइये। मैं भी आपके साथ चलूँगी। आज मैं आपको अकेला नहीं छोड़ सकती
sāvitrī tv āha bhartāraṃ naikastvaṃ gantum arhasi | saha tvayā gamiṣyāmi na hi tvāṃ hātum utsahe ||
Sāvitrī disse ao marido: “Não deves ir sozinho. Irei contigo. Não tenho forças para deixar-te por ti mesmo.”
