कुन्तीगर्भगोपनम् तथा मञ्जूषाप्रवाहः
Kuntī’s concealed childbirth and the river-borne casket
सिंहनादा: सपटहा दिवि दिव्यास्तथानदन् । दशकन्धरराजसून्वोस्तथा युद्धम भून्महत्,रावणपर श्रीरामकी चढ़ाई होते ही समस्त प्राणी हाहाकार कर उठे, देवलोकमें नगारे बज उठे और जोर-जोरसे सिंहनाद होने लगा। दशकन्धर रावण तथा राजकुमार श्रीराममें उस समय महान् युद्ध छिड़ गया
siṃhanādāḥ sapaṭahā divi divyās tathā nadan | daśakandhararājasūnvor tathā yuddham abhūn mahat ||
Mārkaṇḍeya disse: “Nos céus, ressoaram os tímpanos divinos, e ecoaram poderosos rugidos de leão. Então ergueu-se uma grande batalha entre Daśakandhara (Rāvaṇa) e o príncipe real Rāma. O simples início do avanço de Rāma agitou os mundos: os seres clamaram em alarme, e o reino celeste repercutiu com sinais de guerra.”
