Kuntī–Sūrya-saṃvāda: Autonomy, Reputation, and the Promise of Karṇa
ततस्तं देशमागम्य कृतकर्मा विभीषण: । बोधयामास तौ वीरी प्रज्ञास्त्रेण प्रबोधितो,तदनन्तर अपने कर्तव्य कर्मको पूरा करके विभीषण उस स्थानपर आये। उन्होंने प्रज्ञास्त्रद्वारा उन दोनों वीरोंको होशमें लाकर जगाया
tatas taṃ deśam āgamya kṛtakarmā vibhīṣaṇaḥ | bodhayāmāsa tau vīrau prajñāstreṇa prabodhitaḥ ||
Então Vibhīṣaṇa, tendo cumprido o dever que lhe cabia, veio àquele lugar. Com o Prajñā-astra, restituiu a consciência aos dois heróis e os despertou.
मार्कण्डेय उवाच
The verse highlights dharma as timely completion of one’s assigned duty (kṛtakarmā) and the restrained, beneficial use of power—here, an astra is employed to restore awareness rather than to injure, suggesting that capability should serve protection and right action.
After finishing his task, Vibhīṣaṇa arrives at a particular location and uses the Prajñā-astra to bring two warriors back to consciousness, awakening them from a state of stupor or unconsciousness.
