असौ मन्ये न जानीते समयप्रतिपालनम्‌ । कृतोपकारं मां नूनमवमन्याल्पया धिया,“मैं तो समझता हूँ, वह अपनी की हुई प्रतिज्ञाका पालन करना नहीं जानता और अपनी मन्दबुद्धिके कारण मुझ उपकारीकी भी वह निश्चय ही अवहेलना कर रहा है

asau manye na jānīte samaya-pratipālanam | kṛtopakāraṃ māṃ nūnam avamanyālpayā dhiyā ||

“Penso que esse homem não compreende como cumprir um pacto no tempo ajustado. De fato, com seu juízo mesquinho, ele certamente despreza até a mim—que lhe fiz um favor.”
