Sāvitrī’s Trirātra-Vrata and Departure with Satyavān (सावित्रीव्रतनिश्चयः सहगमनं च)
एवं बहुविधं धीमान् विललाप स लक्ष्मण: । तमुवाचाथ काकुत्स्थ: सम्भ्रमेष्वप्यसम्भ्रम:,बुद्धिमान् लक्ष्मण इस प्रकार भाँति-भाँतिसे विलाप करने लगे। भगवान् श्रीराम घबराहटके समय भी घबराते नहीं थे। उन्होंने लक्ष्मणसे कहा--
evaṁ bahuvidhaṁ dhīmān vilalāpa sa lakṣmaṇaḥ | tam uvācātha kākutsthaḥ sambhrameṣv apy asambhramaḥ ||
Assim, o prudente Lakṣmaṇa lamentou-se de muitos modos. Então Kākutstha (Rāma)—firme mesmo em meio ao pânico e à confusão—dirigiu-se a ele, falando com serenidade e lúcido discernimento.
