त्रिकू्टं समतिक्रम्य कालपर्वतमेव च । ददर्श मकरावासं गम्भीरोदं महोदधिम्,त्रिकूट और कालपर्वतको लाँधकर उसने मगरोंके निवासस्थान गहरे महासागरको देखा
Trikūṭaṁ samatikramya Kālaparvatam eva ca | dadarśa makarāvāsaṁ gambhīrodaṁ mahodadhim ||
Tendo transposto o monte Trikūṭa e também o monte Kāla, ele avistou o grande oceano—de águas profundas e célebre como morada dos makaras.
(श्रीरम उवाच
The verse highlights steadfast progress: crossing daunting obstacles and continuing forward until the objective is clearly seen. Implicitly it commends resolve and courage in the face of vast, intimidating realities.
Rāma passes beyond Mount Trikūṭa and the Kāla mountain and then beholds the great ocean, described as deep and as the habitat of makaras.
