Vyāsa’s Consolation to Yudhiṣṭhira: Tapas, Kāla, and the Difficulty of Dāna (दान-तपस्-विवेकः)
ततः सुतुमुलं युद्ध गन्धर्वाणां तरस्विनाम् । बभूव भीमवेगानां पाण्डवानां च भारत
tataḥ sutumulaṃ yuddhaṃ gandharvāṇāṃ tarasvinām | babhūva bhīmavegānāṃ pāṇḍavānāṃ ca bhārata ||
Então irrompeu uma batalha feroz e tumultuosa entre os poderosos Gandharvas e os Pāṇḍavas, cujo ímpeto era como o de Bhīma—ó Bhārata. O choque é enquadrado como uma vaga avassaladora de força, acentuando a tensão moral entre valentia e contenção em meio a um conflito súbito.
