Duryodhana’s Restraint by Citraseṇa and Yudhiṣṭhira’s Magnanimous Release

Dvaitavana

Educational Q&A

Maintain and nourish relationships with a spouse’s genuine well-wishers through tactful hospitality, while consistently avoiding hostile, harmful, or deceitful associates—ethical discernment in social bonds.

In Vaiśampāyana’s narration, a counsel is given about proper conduct: support those loyal and beneficial to one’s husband, and keep distance from those who are antagonistic, harmful, or inclined to trickery.
