Kaurava Court Hears of the Pāṇḍavas’ Forest Hardship (वैचित्रवीर्यवंशीयस्य राज्ञः करुणाविचारः)
कन्योवाच अबलाहं महाबाहो पतिस्तु बलवान् मम । वरदानात् _पितुर्भावी सुरासुरनमस्कृत:,कन्या बोली--महाबाहो! मैं तो अबला हूँ। पिताजीके वरदानसे मेरे भावी पति बलवान तथा देवदानव-वन्दित होंगे
kanyovāca abālāhaṃ mahābāho patistu balavān mama | varadānāt pitur bhāvī surāsura-namaskṛtaḥ ||
A donzela disse: “Ó tu de braços poderosos, sou apenas uma jovem indefesa. Contudo, pelo dom concedido por meu pai, meu futuro esposo será forte e honrado até mesmo por deuses e asuras.”
