तत् समासाद्य नगरं सौभं व्यपगतत्विषम् । मध्येन पाटयामास क्रकचो दार्विवोच्छितम्,उस दिव्यास्त्रने सौभनगरमें पहुँचकर उसे श्रीहीन कर दिया और जैसे आरा ऊँचे काठको चीर डालता है, उसी प्रकार सौभविमानको बीचसे काट डाला
tat samāsādya nagaraṃ saubhaṃ vyapagatatviṣam | madhyena pāṭayāmāsa krakaco dārvivocchitam ||
Disse Vāyu-deva: “Ao alcançar a cidade chamada Saubha, ele a despojou do seu esplendor; e então, como uma serra que fende um alto tronco, partiu a fortaleza aérea de Saubha bem ao meio.”
