Adhyāya 22: Śālva’s Weapon-Shower, Dāruka’s Wounding, and the Māyā-Report of Vasudeva’s Father
मेघजालमिवाकाशे विदार्यभ्युदितं रविम् । दृष्टवा मां बान्धवा: सर्वे हर्षमाहारयन् पुन:,जैसे आकाशमें बादलोंके समुदायको छिन्न-भिन्न करके सूर्य उदित होता है, उसी प्रकार शिलाखण्डोंको हटाकर मुझे प्रकट हुआ देख मेरे सभी बन्धु-बान्धब पुनः हर्षसे खिल उठे
meghajālam ivākāśe vidāryābhyuditaṃ ravim | dṛṣṭvā māṃ bāndhavāḥ sarve harṣam āhārayan punaḥ ||
Disse Vāyu: “Assim como o sol se ergue após rasgar no céu uma massa de nuvens, do mesmo modo — quando as lajes de pedra foram removidas e eu fui revelado — meus parentes, ao me verem, encheram-se novamente de alegria.”
