अध्याय १९० — वामदेव-वाम्य-वृत्तान्तः
The Vāmadeva Horses Episode and the Ethics of Promise
आखयातस्ते मया चात्मा दुर्जेयो हि सुरासुरै:,ब्रह्मर्ष! इस प्रकार मैंने तुम्हें अपने स्वरूपका उपदेश किया है, जिसका जानना देवता और असुरोंके लिये भी कठिन है। जबतक महातपस्वी भगवान् ब्रह्माका जागरण न हो, तबतक तुम श्रद्धा और विश्वासपूर्वक सुखसे विचरते रहो
ākhyātaste mayā cātmā durjeyo hi surāsuraiḥ, brahmarṣe |
A Divindade disse: “Agora te declarei a minha verdadeira natureza. De fato, é difícil de compreender—até mesmo para deuses e asuras. Portanto, ó brahmarṣi, até que o grande asceta, o Senhor Brahmā, desperte, deves continuar a mover-te em paz, sustentado pela fé e pela confiança.”
