स मत्स्यवचन श्रुत्वा कृपयाभिपरिप्लुत: । मनुर्वैवस्वतो<गृह्नात् तं मत्स्यं पाणिना स्वयम्
sa matsyavacanaṃ śrutvā kṛpayābhipariplutaḥ | manur vaivasvato gṛhṇāt taṃ matsyaṃ pāṇinā svayam ||
Ao ouvir as palavras do peixe, Manu Vaivasvata foi tomado por profunda compaixão; e com a própria mão apanhou aquele peixe.
