Nārāyaṇopadeśa to Mārkaṇḍeya (Cosmic Self-Identification and Yuga Doctrine) | नारायणोपदेशः
अनड्वाहं सुव्रतं यो ददाति हलस्य वोढारमनन्तवीर्यम् । धुरन्धरं बलवन्तं युवानं प्राप्नोति लोकान् दश धेनुदस्य,जो मनुष्य अच्छे स्वभाववाले, अत्यन्त शक्तिशाली, हल खींचनेवाले, गाड़ीका बोझ ढोनेमें समर्थ, बलवान् और तरुण अवस्थावाले बैलका दान करता है, वह धेनुदान करनेवाले पुरुषसे दसगुने पुण्यलोक प्राप्त करता है
Markaṇḍeya uvāca: anaḍvāhaṃ suvrataṃ yo dadāti halasya voḍhāram anantavīryam | dhurandharaṃ balavantaṃ yuvānaṃ prāpnoti lokān daśa dhenudasya ||
Disse Mārkaṇḍeya: Quem doa um touro bem treinado—apto a puxar o arado, de força sem limites, capaz de suportar o jugo e cargas pesadas, poderoso e no auge da juventude—alcança mundos de mérito dez vezes maiores do que aquele que doa uma vaca. O ensinamento louva a generosidade com discernimento: oferecer o que de fato sustenta a agricultura e o sustento comunitário traz recompensa espiritual excepcional.
