Nahūṣa-Ājagara Saṃvāda: Yudhiṣṭhira’s Definition of Brāhmaṇa and the ‘Vedyam’ Debate
The verse highlights compassionate, dharma-centered mentorship: a true guide instructs with the care of a father, offering timely counsel to strengthen conduct and resolve before a difficult journey.
As the Pāṇḍavas depart from that place, the sage Lomaśa, pleased and affectionate, gives them final instructions and then leaves for the gods’ most sacred abode.
