ततोऊहं लघुभिभ्रित्रैरस्त्रैस्तानसुरान् रणे | चिच्छेद सायुधान् राजन् शतशो5थ सहस्रश:,राजन! तब मैंने उस रणभूमिने अस्त्र-शस्त्रधारी सैकड़ों तथा सहस्रों असुरोंको विचित्र एवं शीघ्रगामी बाणोंद्वारा मार गिराया। शत्रुदमन नरेश! इस प्रकार पूर्ण प्रयत्नपूर्वक युद्धमें विचरते हुए मेरे ऊपर इन्द्रसाराथि वीरवर मातलि बड़े प्रसन्न हुए
tato 'haṁ laghubhir bhītrair astrais tān asurān raṇe | ciccheda sāyudhān rājan śataśo 'tha sahasraśaḥ ||
Então, ó rei, no meio da batalha, abati aqueles Asuras armados às centenas e aos milhares, com projéteis velozes e maravilhosos.
