Indraloka-gamana
एवमेतं त्वतिक्रम्प महामेरुमतन्द्रित: । भावयन् सर्वभूतानि पुनर्गच्छति मन्दरम्
evaṃ etaṃ tv atikrampya mahāmerum atandritaḥ | bhāvayan sarvabhūtāni punar gacchati mandaram ||
Vaiśampāyana disse: “Assim, sem indolência, tendo transposto o grande Meru, ele retorna novamente a Mandara, sustentando todos os seres vivos. Do mesmo modo, o Sol—destruidor das trevas—nutre o mundo inteiro com seus raios e percorre incessantemente este caminho desimpedido.”
