Arjuna’s Arrival and Reunion on the Sacred Mountain
तदेकायनमासाद्य विषमं भीमदर्शनम् | बहुतालोच्छूयं शूद्धमारुरोह महाबल:,वह पर्वत ऊँची-नीची भूमियोंसे युक्त और देखनेमें भयंकर था। उसकी ऊँचाई कई ताड़ोंके बराबर थी और उसपर चढ़नेके लिये एक ही मार्ग था, तो भी महाबली भीमसेन उसके शिखरपर चढ़ गये
tad ekāyanam āsādya viṣamaṃ bhīmadarśanam | bahutālocchūyaṃ śuddham āruroha mahābalaḥ ||
Ao alcançar aquele único acesso estreito, Bhīma—de força imensa—escalou a altura íngreme e terrível de se ver. A montanha era irregular e assustadora, erguendo-se à medida de muitas palmeiras; e, embora oferecesse apenas um caminho difícil, Bhīmasena ainda assim subiu até o cume, encarnando coragem resoluta diante do perigo.
