The verse highlights the forest’s natural abundance—trees heavy with fruit—suggesting that even in exile or hardship, sustenance and support can arise from the environment when one lives simply and attentively.
The narrator describes what the travelers observe on their way: fruit-laden trees bowed down by their produce, specifically mentioning prominent āmrātaka trees, coconut palms, and tinduka trees as part of the forest landscape.
