त॑ वज्ननिष्पेषसममास्फोटितमहारवम् | श्रुत्वा शैलगुहासुप्तै: सिंहैर्मुक्तो महास्वन:,पर्वतोंपर वज्रपात होनेके कारण उस ताल ठोंकनेके भयानक शब्दको सुनकर गुफाओंमें सोये हुए सिंहोंने भी जोर-जोरसे दहाड़ना आरम्भ किया
taṁ vajra-niṣpeṣa-samam āsphoṭita-mahā-ravam | śrutvā śaila-guhā-suptaiḥ siṁhair mukto mahā-svanaḥ ||
Disse Vaiśampāyana: Ao ouvir aquele som terrível e trovejante—como o golpe esmagador de um raio—os leões que dormiam nas grutas das montanhas foram despertados e começaram a rugir em alta voz.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights how intense, disruptive force (symbolized by a thunderbolt-like sound) can awaken dormant energies and provoke powerful reactions—an ethical reminder that actions creating turmoil can have wide, uncontrollable consequences.
A tremendous, thunderbolt-like crashing sound is heard on the mountain; even lions sleeping in mountain caves are startled awake and roar loudly in response.
