The Birth and Career Account of Māndhātṛ
पिपासितेन या: पीता विधिमन्त्रपुरस्कृता: । आपस्त्वया महाराज मत्तपोवीर्यसम्भूता:
pipāsitena yāḥ pītā vidhimantrapuraskṛtāḥ | āpastvayā mahārāja mattapovīryasambhūtāḥ ||
Lomaśa disse: “Ó grande rei, as águas que bebeste quando estavas consumido pela sede—depois de devidamente precedidas pelo rito correto e pelos mantras sagrados—eram águas trazidas à existência pelo poder da minha austeridade (tapas). Portanto, não eram comuns; nasceram da potência ascética e deviam ser abordadas com reverência e contenção.”
