The verse highlights steadfast endurance under adversity: even when deprived of familial support and overwhelmed by hardships, one continues to live according to dharma, guided by worthy elders and teachers.
A speaker describes living in the forest while suffering many troubles, emphasizing separation from the venerable Kuntī and noting that Dhaumya is placed in front as guide/leader during the forest residence.
