Respect others’ property and restrain acquisitive desire, even in religious contexts; dharma is upheld by non-appropriation and self-control, not by seizing all ritual benefits for oneself.
After a sacrificial animal is carried off, the gods intervene and warn the addressed Bharata-hero not to retaliate by violating others’ rights or by trying to claim all dharma-supporting ritual portions for himself.
